Blount Memorial Hospital’s in-hospital surgery center features state-of-the-art operating rooms with everything from the latest high-tech operating tables and redundant instrument systems, to "clean core" wall paint that inhibits bacteria growth, creating a cleaner, more sterile environment.

Visitors will find a spacious waiting area where loved ones can gather comfortably and have any questions or concerns addressed by a supportive staff. Pagers are available for visitors accompanying same-day surgery patients. This free service enables visitors to go anywhere on hospital grounds with the assurance that they can be summoned back to the surgery center on a moment's notice.
