"Lifelong Learning" is a series of presentations designed to promote learning opportunities for anyone interested in challenging his or her thinking and enhancing brain stimulation. All age groups are encouraged to attend. This event is sponsored by Blount Memorial Senior Services, Maryville College and Vienna Coffee Company. This month, Oak Ridge National Laboratory science writer and musician Bill Cabage has produced a presentation that highlights the American influence on the world-renowned 1960s British rock group the Beatles. Cabage will present the musical and cultural influences of American artists on the Beatles, the evolution of their musical styles, and how their styles were influences on other musicians. He also will perform selections from the discography of their music.
