The first baby born at Blount Memorial Hospital in 2024, Hollis Arlo McKee, arrived at 10:23 p.m. on Tuesday, January 2. The baby was born to Rachel Parton and Stevie McKee of Lenoir City, Tennessee, and weighed 6 pounds, 10.3 ounces.
"We would like to thank the amazing staff and Dr. Turner for delivering our healthy baby boy," the couple said.
Each year, the first baby born at Blount Memorial receives a special gift basket, including a commemorative "Baby New Year" onesie.
