Blount Memorial Honored by Tennessee Athletic Trainers' Society

Blount Memorial Hospital’s staff of certified athletic trainers was recognized for their efforts in the community by the Tennessee Athletic Trainers’ Society (TATS) last weekend in Nashville.

Representatives from Blount Memorial – including Blount Memorial certified athletic trainer Grant Davis; Blount Memorial Total Rehabilitation sports coordinator, TATS president and certified athletic trainer Peggy Bratt; and Blount Memorial chief financial officer Jonathan Smith – were presented the “Corporate Award” from TATS on Saturday, Jan. 19. Blount Memorial received the award for providing more than 7,500 hours of free athletic training services to students in Blount, Loudon and Monroe Counties.

Winners of the 2019 TATS Awards were nominated by their peers from across the state for their dedication to improving the lives of Tennesseans by delivering exceptional health care in the field of athletic training.
