All-In-One Customer Service Office Now Open

Visitors to Blount Memorial Hospital now can take care of multiple business needs in the same location.

In an effort to streamline its customer experience, the hospital has merged its public business office window with its medical records release of information area, meaning guests now can pay bills, pick up medical records and more at an all-in-one customer service office on the hospital’s ground floor.

“We have had the goal to put medical records release of information alongside our business office cashier for many years because we realize it can be difficult for patients to navigate their way to our medical records area to request or pick up their medical records,” said Vicki Odum, director of health information management at Blount Memorial. “With this merge, visitors essentially have ‘one-stop shopping,’ so guests no longer have to go multiple places within the hospital to take care of their business needs,” she added.

The newly merged release of information and business office windows are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Patients also can request medical records online any time by visiting blountmemorial.org/healthrecord and using the Online Patient Record Request Tool. Patients also can pay hospital bills online by visiting blountmemorial.org/businessoffice.
